Dahlonega Baptist Church is a group of believers in Jesus, the Messiah (or, the Christ). We live by God’s grace and mostly that means we accept others where they are and invite them to follow the Christ with us. Living by grace also means we don’t know all the answers, but we follow the One who guides us always in a God-ward direction. As graceful people we don’t profess to be without faults, but believe that God’s Holy Spirit enables us more and more to live out Jesus’ values, like compassion, forgiveness, generosity and service. Also, we come from all kinds of educational, denominational, and regional backgrounds, but the same purpose to build with God an eternal family by living and sharing our faith draws us into one family of faith. As God’s people we want more of the new, infinitely better, life through faith in Jesus God offers us. We want to grow and we expect to be changed as we grow.

In short, we see ourselves on a spiritual journey. We believe it’s an adventure. We know God leads us. We believe it requires sacrifice and change, but the sacrifice and change leads us to new experiences of the amazing life God offers us through faith. We don’t want to turn back and we invite you to travel with us—to learn more about the incredible life offered by God through faith in Jesus, and better, to experience that new life of faith.
