We hope your online experience will give you a taste of who we are and what to expect when you visit. Most guests have questions like what do I wear? Where do I park? What about my children? Our desire is for you to have a meaning-filled worship experience with us.
What to wear? We have members and visitors from a variety of backgrounds and traditions. For Sunday mornings, you will see slacks, skirts, suits, and jeans. Most of our college students and youth wear jeans and are very casual.
What do I expect during worship? Dahlonega Baptist offers two Sunday morning worship services to meet your interest and needs. (Every 5th Sunday of the month we have one Unity Service to include Communion that begins at 10:45am.) The 8:30am Contemporary worship service is led by a Praise Team and the 11:00am Traditional service is led by the Sanctuary Choir. Both services hear the same message from Pastor Bill. In worship, many people sing along, some clap their hands, or even raise their hands in worship. You are welcome to join in or sit back and relax. Following the services, the Pastor is available at the front of the sanctuary to greet members and guests. So go by and say hello!
How do I find my way around your building? We have two levels of our building. The upper level is our Sanctuary and adult classrooms and the lower level is the Fellowship Hall, adult classrooms, nursery and children’s department. At the back of the campus we have a modular unit called the Summit Youth House where the middle and high school students meet for Bible Study and Wednesday night activities. Where do I park? We have designated parking for Senior Adults on the left side of the sanctuary. Handicapped parking is available at the upper level and lower levels of the parking area. Those with young children, may find it easier to drive to the back of the building and park at the lower level since all our children’s class rooms and nursery rooms are located on the lower level.
